The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson dives in for a single leg takedown but Brandao sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Johnson tries to clinch
and Brandao counters with a nice leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Johnson is defended easily by Brandao.

and Brandao counters with a nice low kick that buckles Johnson's knee momentarily.
Evandro Brandao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dwayne Johnson.

and Brandao counters with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Brandao makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Johnson looks winded!
Brandao bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Johnson! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Johnson is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brandao decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Johnson, up you get!
Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Brandao finish him?
Brandao is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Johnson hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
