Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Buster Hendrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yvon Bonnefont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonnefont shoots in but Hendrix avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hendrix went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Bonnefont pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bonnefont keeps control of Hendrix as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hendrix is fighting to break Bonnefont's control of his arms but Bonnefont is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Bonnefont is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A nice side step and Bonnefont releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Well Bonnefont has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
