The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ebay swings for the body but Giles moves out of range.
Giles has a takedown stuffed.

Giles takes the fight into the clinch.

Giles displaying some good clinch control by pressing Ebay up against the cage.
Giles seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ebay is trying to break the clinch but Giles is controlling him.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Giles.
Giles keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ebay's efforts to push away.

Giles escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ebay misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ebay connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ebay throws a good cross that connects.

Giles clinches with his opponent.
Ebay wants to break free but Giles has control.

Ebay breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ebay misses with a double jab.
Ebay throws a series of punches but Giles moves out of range.
Ebay cracks a nice hook into Giles's ribs.
Ebay misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Giles.
Ebay looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Giles tries to clinch up but Ebay circles away and keeps his distance.
Giles uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ebay.
Giles could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ebay misses with a wild body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ebay, as that shot connected.

Giles is rocked!
Ebay is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Giles flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Giles is out cold! Ebay holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Justin Ebay!
