The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looked like Strongbranch was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bland.

Strongbranch swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Strongbranch takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

and Strongbranch counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Jerome Bland has been cut.
Bland throws a hook to the side of Strongbranch's head but Strongbranch sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bland throws a looping overhand right but Strongbranch ducks down to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Strongbranch is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Strongbranch takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Bland throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bland works Strongbranch's body with a nice hook.
Bland drops Strongbranch with a straight right hand, right on the button! Bland follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
