Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Quentin Bullock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shunsuke Nakahara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bullock avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nakahara scores with a one two! Bullock had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Nakahara falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bullock counters with a body kick.

Nakahara shoots in and gets a takedown into Bullock's guard.

Nakahara decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bullock, up you get!

Nakahara drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Bullock bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nakahara throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bullock was covering up waiting for the punch and Nakahara finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bullock is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bullock is working an open guard so Nakahara takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Nakahara throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bullock tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nakahara is in Bullock's guard.

Let's hope that Nakahara has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Nakahara postures up and lands a big shot to Bullock's brow.

Nakahara decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
No joy there for Nakahara, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As Nakahara looks to move away, Bullock throws a big counter combo but Nakahara just gets out of the way.

Nakahara has managed to clinch.

Nakahara breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nakahara swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bullock counters with a three punch combo that has Nakahara backing up. Nakahara nods at Bullock to acknowledge the strikes.
Bullock tries to close the distance and clinch but Nakahara swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Shunsuke Nakahara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nakahara moves into the clinch.
Bullock using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Nakahara has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Nakahara breaks from the clinch.
Nakahara lands a two punch combo.

Nakahara shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Nakahara was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bullock explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nakahara darts in and clinches Bullock up against the cage.

Bullock tries to clinch up but Nakahara circles away and keeps his distance.
Nakahara throws a series of strikes that have Bullock backpedaling.

Bullock is rocked!
