The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nixon fails with the takedown
and Henderson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Henderson wants to clinch up but Nixon keeps it at a distance.
Nixon changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Nixon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nixon lands in his opponent's guard.
Nixon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Henderson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Henderson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Nixon rolls with it to try and escape but Henderson cranks on the arm and Nixon is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
