Klice comes to the cage accompanied by THE D.O.C. - it's funky enough. The key to victory for Simbo Klice has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beefcake falls off balance throwing a combination
and Klice counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Klice has Beefcake up against the cage in a clinch.

Klice drags the fight down to the ground.

Beefcake avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Beefcake lands a couple of digs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Beefcake postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Klice on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Klice tries to get out of the position.
Klice trying to keep a closed guard but Beefcake is proving a slippery customer.
Beefcake has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Klice tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Beefcake looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Klice has his foot on Beefcake's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Beefcake works his way back into a safe position though.

Beefcake slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Oh Klice is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Beefcake gets to his feet and stands over Klice, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Klice felt that one! Beefcake unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Klice from any more punishment!
