Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Captain Boromir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Archer's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Centuries. Captain Boromir has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boromir misses with a straight right.
A looping hook to the body misses from Boromir. Archer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Archer fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Boromir checks it well.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Archer.
Archer lands with a straight right. Boromir didn't see that one coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Archer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boromir.
That kick from Archer tenderised Boromir's leg. Boromir is trying to keep his angry face on.
Archer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Boromir throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Archer moves away from the strike by Boromir.
Archer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A jab from Boromir does it's job there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Archer takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A good leg kick by Archer.
Archer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Boromir uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Boromir throws a lazy uppercut
and Archer counters with a nice uppercut.
A jab from Archer does it's job there.
Archer's corner calls for a 1-2. Archer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Boromir throws an overhand right that lands on Archer's shoulder, as Archer tries to avoid the shot.
Boromir looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Boromir misses with a double jab.
Archer swings for the body but Boromir moves out of range.
Boromir throws a right hand that misses
and Boromir takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boromir scores with a nice head shot.
Archer misses with the combination.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Archer, as that shot connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boromir sizes up Archer with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Archer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boromir.
Boromir punishes Archer's body with a nice straight punch.
Archer misses with a body shot.
Archer tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Archer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nice defenses there by Boromir.
Archer closes the distance and clinches up with Boromir, looking for a takedown. Archer pushes Boromir against the cage but Boromir circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Boromir feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Archer sprawling to the canvas! Archer rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Boromir finish him?!
Archer is rocked!
Archer drops his hands momentarily. Boromir doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Archer staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Archer doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Captain Boromir!
