Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donald Falcone!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Falcone shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Falcone was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

My spies in NYC Alpha (Conditioning and Sparring Gym) inform me that Falcone has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Remington is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Falcone pulls his head out easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Falcone feints and as Remington raises his hands in defense, Falcone changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Remington lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.


Remington thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Falcone can do anything to dispel that myth.

Remington sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Falcone's guard.

Remington is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Remington is pressing down on Falcone's thigh, looking to free his foot. Falcone is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Remington looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Falcone is defending well. Remington quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Falcone has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Remington celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Beau Remington!
In his post fight interview, Beau Remington started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
