Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Peter Pan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nameless Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fighter has chosen Dan Balan Like as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Peter Pan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nameless Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Fighter finds it's target.
Fighter misses with a combination

and Pan counters by clinching up.
Pan tries to pull guard but Fighter holds him up against the cage and eventually Pan drops back down to his feet.
A short left from Fighter.
Pan jumps guard but Fighter stands there with Pan around his waist. Pan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Pan is trying to pull guard but Fighter has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Pan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fighter lands a left hand.
Fighter lands a shoulder strike.
A short uppercut from Fighter.
Pan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fighter walks away with a smile on his face. Pan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Pan tries to move into range but Fighter moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Fighter lands a jab to the head.
Nameless Fighter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fighter lands with a nice combination. Pan backs away looking to recover.
Fighter lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Pan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fighter paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fighter fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fighter throws a one two combo.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Left hook, right uppercut from Fighter.


Pan is rocked!
A punch combination from Fighter misses.
Oh Pan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pan tries to clinch up.
Pan seems to have got his legs back now.
Pan fails in his attempt to clinch.
It seemed like Fighter was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Fighter throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fighter lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Fighter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pan doesn't seem bothered though.

Fighter lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pan wants to clinch up but Fighter keeps it at a distance.
A slow jab from Fighter misses its intended target.
Nice jab there from Fighter.
Pan slips a jab and a cross from Fighter.
Fighter stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Fighter connects with a crisp jab.
Pan has been working on his balance at Animal House, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Fighter.
Fighter looks to land a combination but Pan avoids it well.
Fighter connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Fighter throws a hook but Pan avoids it easily.
Pan tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Fighter manages to circle out of the way.
Sloppy strikes from Fighter. Those never looked like landing.
Fighter might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Fighter throws a looping overhand right but Pan ducks down to avoid it.

Fighter gets tackled into the cage by Pan. Pan maintains the clinch.
Fighter digs a right hand into Pan's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Pan's gas tank.
Pan fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Pan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fighter to keep the fight standing.
Pan tries to pull guard but Fighter holds him up against the cage and eventually Pan drops back down to his feet.
Fighter pushes Pan back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Pan is breathing heavily.

Fighter makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Pan is trying to pull guard but Fighter turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Pan manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Pan throws his legs up looking for a submission but Fighter uses it to pass to side control.
Pan is looking for a sweep.

Fighter stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Pan takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fighter lands a glancing blow to the side of Pan's head.
Danga de danga de dang - Fighter scores with a four punch combination!
Pan drops his hands momentarily and Fighter takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fighter fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fighter feints with a jab and clips Pan right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Pan is sent crashing into the canvas and Fighter leaps in for the kill! Pan tries to get to his feet but Fighter is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Pan is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nameless Fighter!
Nameless Fighter got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
