Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Petey Flowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fyodor Pending (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flowers throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Pending counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Pending stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Flowers swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pending wants to control from the top but Flowers keeps moving.
Flowers can't keep his opponent in guard - Pending advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Pending wants to take a breather but Flowers is having none of it.
