The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshal dips to his left and cracks Callard with an uppercut!
Marshal throws a head kick but Callard moves out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Callard has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Callard attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Callard throws a series of punches but Marshal moves out of range.
Callard moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Marshal ducks right into an uppercut from Callard.
Callard throws a sloppy head kick
and Marshal counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Marshal throws an overhand right that lands on Callard's shoulder, as Callard tries to avoid the shot.
Callard slips a straight right by Marshal.
Marshal throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rob Callard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marshal lands a really nice looking cross but Callard seems unphased.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A jab lands there for Callard.
Marshal lands a slapping body shot.
Marshal feints and then cracks Callard's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Callard down.
Marshal scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Marshal tries to land a front kick but Callard steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Callard avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Marshal throws a combination. Callard tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Callard moves away from the strike by Marshal.
Callard cracks a nice hook into Marshal's ribs.
Callard pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Callard throws a looping overhand right but Marshal ducks down to avoid it.
Marshal tries a quick counter leg kick but Callard is wise to it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Callard scores with the left hand. Marshal knows he should have avoided that one.
Marshal lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Marshal takes a kick to the side of the head.
Callard checks a low kick from Marshal.
Marshal takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Marshal connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Callard's hands.

Callard is rocked!
Marshal lands an uppercut, right on the button! Callard tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
