Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Vasilyevich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Bosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivan Vasilyevich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Bosh!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bosh thows a left - swing and a miss!
Vasilyevich seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Bosh connects with a looping right hand.
Chris Bosh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bosh swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bosh chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vasilyevich can pounce on him.
Vasilyevich throws a nice inside leg kick.
Vasilyevich moves away from the strike by Bosh.
Vasilyevich feints and then cracks Bosh's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bosh down.
Good leg kick by Vasilyevich there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Vasilyevich buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Bosh throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vasilyevich was covering up waiting for the punch and Bosh finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bosh advances to half guard.

Vasilyevich is looking to control Bosh's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vasilyevich avoid being mounted?

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bosh stops Vasilyevich from getting back to his feet.

Bosh is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Vasilyevich defends it well.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bosh seems to be working for a kimura but Vasilyevich defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vasilyevich tries to get to full guard but Bosh has control of the leg.

Bosh postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bosh trying to control but Vasilyevich is working from the bottom.
Bosh lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Bosh looking to sit in guard and control but Vasilyevich gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Vasilyevich is in close to Bosh's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Bosh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Bosh misses with a straight left.
Vasilyevich tries to counter by clinching up but Bosh breaks away and moves out of range.
Vasilyevich moves out of range as Bosh strikes.
Vasilyevich throws a quick inside leg kick.
Vasilyevich does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vasilyevich, right into the meat.
Vasilyevich lands with a slapping head kick.
Bosh misses with a left hand
and Vasilyevich counters with an outside leg kick.
Bosh shoots in but no luck this time.
Vasilyevich misses with a head kick.
Vasilyevich dodges the punch combination from Bosh.
Bosh misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A punch lands to the side of Bosh 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Vasilyevich tries to clinch but Bosh is having none of it.
Nice uppercut lands for Vasilyevich. That snapped Bosh's head back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bosh misses with a hook to the body
and Vasilyevich counters with a huge left! Bosh is in big trouble! He's backing up but Vasilyevich isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Bosh from any more damage. A dominating finish by Vasilyevich!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ivan Vasilyevich!
