Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Campos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Luiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fernando Campos looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luiz throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Campos's head.
Campos throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Campos goes for a double leg but Luiz avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Luiz continues to drive forward.

Campos closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Campos gets control of Luiz's arms and successfully pulls guard. Campos will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Campos definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Luiz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Campos swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Luiz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Luiz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Luiz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Campos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Campos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That kick from Luiz tenderised Campos's leg. Campos is trying to keep his angry face on.
Campos dives in for a single leg takedown but Luiz sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Luiz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Campos sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Thiago Luiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luiz lands a big head kick that sends Campos to the canvas! Luiz follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
