Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Da Skrumbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blake comes into the arena with Dead Man blaring out of the sound system. Skrumbo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: It's a fight!!. Da Skrumbo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blake looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Skrumbo !

Blake tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Blake has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Skrumbo wants to get back to his feet but Blake drags him back down.

Skrumbo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Skrumbo takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing that Blake has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Skrumbo is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Skrumbo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Blake is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Skrumbo has managed to escape the submission attempt.
You get the feeling that Skrumbo really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Blake has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Blake lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Blake is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Skrumbo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Skrumbo is rocked!
Skrumbo 's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Skrumbo is still in real trouble! Can Blake finish him?
Blake looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Skrumbo covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

After winning the bout, William Blake thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
