The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrannosaurus lands a front kick.
Alzate swings for the body but Tyrannosaurus moves out of range.
Tyrannosaurus misses with a looping left.
Tyrannosaurus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A jab lands there for Alzate.
Tyrannosaurus has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Nelson Fight Camp in the buildup to the fight.

Tyrannosaurus shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Alzate is defended easily by Tyrannosaurus.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alzate drives through with a takedown into Tyrannosaurus's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Alzate slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
You can see the frustration on Tyrannosaurus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Tyrannosaurus tries to buck Alzate off but Alzate is having none of it.
Alzate wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tyrannosaurus keeps working.
Alzate throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Alzate is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Tyrannosaurus looks calm but he's in trouble here. Alzate gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Tyrannosaurus is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Alzate lets go of the hold and Tyrannosaurus can pop his arm back in it's socket.
