The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kriel throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease.
Kriel lands with a hook. Silva tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kriel throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Silva slips a jab and a cross from Kriel.
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Silva.
Silva tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kriel's legs.
Kriel is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva glances at the clock... BAM! Kriel nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Silva crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Silva is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
