Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charles Carlyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aquiles Romero!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Romero gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Carlyle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Romero is refusing to be controlled, as Carlyle sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carlyle is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Romero sees it coming and defends easily.
