Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moses Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eero Finnila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Berg might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jersualem. Eero Finnila has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Moses Berg's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Moses Berg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eero Finnila!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berg tries to clinch up.
Berg fails with the takedown
and Berg takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Berg drives through and clinches with Finnila against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Berg tries to land a knee to the head but Finnila blocks with his arms.
Berg lands a nice knee to the body.
Finnila's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Finnila blocks an uppercut.
Finnila jumps guard but Berg turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Finnila is trying to break the clinch but Berg has him pressed against the cage.
Finnila wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Berg escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Finnila scores with a jab to the body.

Berg closes the distance and clinches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Finnila tries to pull guard but Berg holds him up against the cage and eventually Finnila drops back down to his feet.
Finnila wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Berg has him pressed against the cage.
Berg throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Finnila blocks it with crossed arms.
Finnila has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Berg seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Finnila can turn it around.
Berg is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Finnila is defending well.
Berg prevents Finnila from breaking the clinch.

Finnila breaks the clinch.
Berg tries to clinch up but Finnila circles away and keeps his distance.
Finnila fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Finnila lands a jab.

Finnila has closed the distance and engaged Berg in a clinch.
Berg goes for a takedown attempt but Finnila pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Finnila tries to bum rush Berg with a series of wild strikes but Berg uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Finnila rushes Berg and presses him up against the cage.
Berg keeps control of Finnila as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Berg letting Finnila take a breather here.
Finnila will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Berg up against the cage.
Finnila fails to pull guard.

Berg breaks the clinch.
Moses Berg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Berg lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Finnila circles away quickly and effectively.
Berg wants to clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Berg tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Finnila fails with a takedown attempt.
Finnila throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Berg throws a big counter combination but Finnila scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Finnila wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Finnila has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Berg breaks from the clinch.

Finnila takes the fight into the clinch.
Finnila wants a takedown.

Berg gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Finnila has hold of Berg's hands but Berg slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Berg is nestled in close to Finnila, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Berg thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Finnila is controlling Berg's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Finnila is trying to stand.

Finnila looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Berg not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Finnila wants to control but Berg is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are battling for position here. Finnila manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Finnila is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Eero Finnila will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Berg rushes Finnila and presses him up against the cage.

Finnila escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Berg fails in his attempt to clinch.
Berg tries to close the distance and clinch up but Finnila swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Berg wants to clinch.
Berg missing with a left hand there. Finnila was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Finnila decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Finnila works his way into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Berg gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Berg knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Finnila on the ground.

Finnila is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Berg is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Eero Finnila!
