Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Schopenhauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pyotr Korobeikin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schopenhauer's entrance music is London Calling. A fine choice. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Arthur Schopenhauer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pyotr Korobeikin!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korobeikin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Schopenhauer takes one on the button.

Korobeikin drives through with a takedown into Schopenhauer's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, if Korobeikin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Korobeikin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Schopenhauer's guard.

The referee asks Korobeikin politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Korobeikin prefers to stall for the moment though.
Schopenhauer is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Korobeikin off and has taken his back!

Schopenhauer is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Korobeikin has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Well Korobeikin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
