Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ka'Ra LeVass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devas Tator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ka'Ra LeVass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Devas Tator!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeVass on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
LeVass throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tator sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tator throws a half hearted mid kick.
LeVass pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Tator gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows LeVass to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Tator tries to land a sweep but no joy.
LeVass throws a big right hand that misses.
Tator working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from LeVass.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
LeVass won't allow Tator to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tator has his hands on LeVass's head, controlling the position.
LeVass lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Tator is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

LeVass is fighting to break Tator's control of his arms but Tator is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Tator stands up over LeVass, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as LeVass holds on and takes a little breather.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Tator working his ground and pound in the gym.

LeVass keeping moving, preventing Tator from controlling successfully.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
LeVass has Tator pulled in close to control his posture.
Tator trying to control the position from guard on top but LeVass is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Tator drops back looking for a leg! LeVass is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and LeVass manages to kick Tator off! Tator jumps back into LeVass's guard.

Tator is looking to work some ground and pound but LeVass has wrist control.
LeVass is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Tator is fighting to break LeVass's control of his arms but LeVass is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
LeVass takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ka'Ra LeVass dominated that round.
That's time! LeVass's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Tator lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
LeVass lands with a straight right. Tator didn't see that one coming.
Tator throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tator throws a low kick but LeVass moves out of range easily.
LeVass half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Devas Tator seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tator throws a chopping leg kick but LeVass manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

LeVass shoots in and bounces Tator off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as LeVass accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as LeVass accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

LeVass is working Tator over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

LeVass postures up and lands a big shot to Tator's brow.
LeVass has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Tator wants to sweep here but LeVass controlling him for the moment.

Let's hope that Tator has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Tator cracks a nice hook into LeVass's ribs.
Tator takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts LeVass, as that shot connected.
Tator throws the kick towards the body but LeVass avoids it.

Tator steps to the side to avoid the strikes from LeVass.
Tator wants to counter with a clinch but LeVass pushes him away.
Tator throws a front kick aimed at LeVass's knee but LeVass avoids it well.
LeVass feinted with a counter takedown.

LeVass closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tator quickly recovers to half guard.
Tator is trying to maintain the position but LeVass is very close to passing his half guard.

LeVass working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tator's head.

LeVass throws a big elbow that misses.
LeVass wants to pass the guard but Tator is keeping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ka'Ra LeVass dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Tator tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

LeVass works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Tator throws a push kick but LeVass slaps the foot to one side.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

LeVass doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

LeVass tries to stall but Tator uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

LeVass is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Tator to keep the fight standing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Tator has dropped down and is working for a takedown. LeVass is trying to keep an underhook but Tator manages to get the takedown into half guard.
LeVass has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tator is working away from the top position though.

Tator looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Tator lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Well, if Tator is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
LeVass trying to hold on to Tator's head to control him but Tator postures up.
LeVass wants to get back to full guard but Tator has passed into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
LeVass dodges the ground and pound from Tator.
LeVass tries to buck Tator off but Tator is having none of it.
LeVass manages to work his way to half guard, despite Tator's best efforts.
Ka'Ra LeVass overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tator connects with a nice short shot to LeVass's temple.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Tator has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Tator might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control LeVass haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Devas Tator comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think LeVass has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ka'Ra LeVass decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
