The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Borowitz forces Face back against the cage and clinches.

Face is trying to force a seperation but Borowitz has the dominant position.
Borowitz creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Face's defenses.

Borowitz drops Face with a big knee straight up the middle! Face is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Face is rocked!
We've been informed that Borowitz has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Face is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A good leg kick by Borowitz.
Borowitz throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Arse Face's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Borowitz lands a vicious elbow to the side of Face's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Borowitz tries to finish him with strikes but Face still seems able to defend himself so Borowitz steps back and lets Face get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

Jeez, Arse Face's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Arse Face's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

In his post fight interview, Tyler Borowitz started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
