Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Monty Python (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Immortal Technique (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Technique has chosen Eye in the sky as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Python misses with a head kick.
Some wild striking there from Python.
Python lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Technique circles away quickly and effectively.
Technique misses with a two punch combination.
Python misses with a double jab.
Technique misses with the combination.
Python lands a jab to the head.
Technique scores with a head kick. Python tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Technique misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Technique falls off balance throwing a combination

and Python counters with a nice double leg into side control. Technique won't be happy with that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Python tries to move into full mount but can't pass Technique's legs.

Python tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Technique stops Python from passing to mount.

Technique is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Python has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Technique sneaks out the side door and pushes Python away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Technique misses with a few strikes there.
Python drops down looking for a counter takedown but Technique sprawls and moves away.
Technique leaves Python with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Technique lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Python lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Python.
Python shoots in but Technique avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Technique is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Python throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Python.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Monty Python. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Technique tries to bum rush Python with a series of wild strikes but Python uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Technique misses with a few strikes there.
No joy there for Python, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Python throws a wild hook but Technique just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Python gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Technique raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Immortal Technique!
Immortal Technique took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'It's funny how on the blocks, niggaz will kill you for cash but never raise the gun to cry out freedom at last'.
