Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Stone!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Stone.
Stone uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jacoby.

Jacoby drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jacoby has control of an arm but Stone manages to advance to Jacoby's back!

Stone is looking for a choke. Jacoby gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Jacoby manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stone can do anything to dispel that myth.

Stone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jacoby doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jacoby manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Stone avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Jacoby tries to free his leg and advance position but Stone is retaining full guard.

Stone has Jacoby pulled in close to control his posture.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

A close round but Jack Stone will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Jacoby will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Stone is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Jacoby with a body shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Stone. That's going to slow Jacoby down.
Jacoby lands a two punch combo.
Stone takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Stone throws a front kick aimed at Jacoby's knee but Jacoby avoids it well.
Jacoby throws a big shot that misses.
Jacoby closes the distance but Stone moves to the side
and Stone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stone moves out of range as Jacoby strikes.
Stone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jacoby.
Jacoby's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stone connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jacoby scrambles back to his feet.
Stone takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Jacoby swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stone misses with a looping left.
We've been told by Jacoby's head coaches at School of Hard Knocks (Elite Training for $225) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Stone slips under a jab.
Jacoby lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Stone misses with a hook. Jacoby ducked under it nicely.
Stone has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Stone takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Stone walks into a stiff left hand from Jacoby.
Stone scores with a three punch combo!


It looks like Monty Jacoby has been cut.
The fighters circle, before Stone throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Jacoby's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Stone lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Jack Stone!
A relieved looking Jack Stone thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
