Bloodlust's entrance music is A Pocket Full Of Shells. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Edgar Mendoza!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Ron Honeybunn and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendoza pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bloodlust back to the cage. Mendoza follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Bloodlust throws a body shot but no joy.
Mendoza paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Mendoza misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bloodlust.
Mendoza uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Edgar Mendoza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bloodlust takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mendoza lands with an overhand left.
Mendoza connects with a right hand. Bloodlust shakes it off.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mendoza scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bloodlust in his tracks.
Mendoza cracks Bloodlust with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
We've been hearing reports that Bloodlust has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Mendoza misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bloodlust takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Bloodlust is rocked!
Mendoza just misses with a punch to the body.
Bloodlust shoots for a takedown but Mendoza saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mendoza feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bloodlusts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Oh Bloodlust is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bloodlust leaves his chin hanging out and Mendoza seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Bloodlust crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Edgar Mendoza!
Darren Bloodlust was interviewed post fight and said 'Ahhh, so that's what it feels like...'.
