PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clayton Channings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Chaolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lee Chaolan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clayton Channings!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lee Chaolan!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaolan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Channings drops down looking for a counter takedown but Chaolan sprawls and moves away.
Chaolan takes a swing at Channings's ribcage but misses.
Chaolan throws a leg kick that misses.
Chaolan misses with a straight right.

Channings bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Channings tries to score with some ground and pound. Chaolan controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Channings misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Channings is working to tighten his grip on Chaolan's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Chaolan has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Channings is really squeezing tight and eventually Chaolan passes out! Channings breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Clayton Channings!
Clayton Channings really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Sin City Allstars logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
