Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Sammich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Televing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Televing comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nightwish - End of all Hope kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sammy Sammich has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sammich throws a leg kick but Televing sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Sammich throws a body punch but Televing moves out of range.
Sammich fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Televing.

Televing forces Sammich back against the ropes and clinches.
Televing tries to work over Sammich's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Televing pushes off an throws an elbow but Sammich leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.

It looks like Christian Televing has been cut.

Televing swings wildly with an uppercut but Sammich uses good head movement to avoid it.
Televing pushes Sammich back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.

Sammich is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

Televing's coach down at Club Pain (Sparring & 6 Ellite) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Televing's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Sammich looks to land a left hand but Televing moved out of range nicely.
Sammich throws a wild body kick that Televing sees coming a mile off.
Televing wants to counter with a clinch but Sammich pushes him away.

Sammich lands a big head kick that sends Televing tumbling to the mat! Sammich takes a step backwards and waves Televing back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Televing is rocked!
Sammich is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Televing drops his hands momentarily. Sammich doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Televing staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Televing doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sammy Sammich!
Sammy Sammich decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
