And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Guy Mourtneant!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mourtneant cracks Artur with a right hand to the side of the head.
Mourtneant lands with a shot to the body.
Mourtneant punishes Artur's body with a nice straight punch.
Artur throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mourtneant scores with a jab to the body.
Artur takes one to the chin there.
Mourtneant moves out of range of the strikes.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mourtneant! But no joy.
Mourtneant misses with an uppercut
and Artur counters with a left to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mourtneant, right into the meat.
Mourtneant ducks under a wild hook from Artur.
Artur has been working on his boxing with his coaches at DiscoClub in the buildup to the fight.
Mourtneant moves away from the strike by Artur.

A little feinted left hand from Artur on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Artur missing with a left hand there. Mourtneant was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Artur tries to move into range but Mourtneant moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Mourtneant misses with the combination.
Artur was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Mourtneant looks to score with a jab to the body but Artur is just out of range.
As Mourtneant looks to move away, Artur throws a big counter combo but Mourtneant just gets out of the way.
Mourtneant lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Artur ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Mourtneant scores with a counter punch that sends Artur to the canvas! Mourtneant smells blood - he's punishing Artur with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Artur has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

In his post fight interview, Guy Mourtneant started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
