The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beats gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Cierpka breaks from the clinch.

Beats takes the fight into the clinch.
Beats tries to work over Cierpka's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Beats tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cierpka's elbow.

Beats jumps into guard, dragging Cierpka to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Beats pushes off an throws an elbow but Cierpka leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Beats tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Cierpka blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Cierpka manages to break the clinch.

Cierpka closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A bit of stalling here from Cierpka.
Cierpka is pressed up against the cage. Beats has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cierpka down to the mat. Cierpka avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Krystian Cierpka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Beats.
Cierpka goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Beats dives in and grabs Cierpka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cierpka pushes down on Beats's head and hops out.
Beats looks winded!

Cierpka creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Cierpka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

A right hook to the body lands for Cierpka.
Beats tries to pull guard but Cierpka won't allow it.
Beats takes a knee right on the jaw!
Beats jumps guard but Cierpka turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Beats is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Cierpka is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Cierpka will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cierpka uses his free foot to push down on Beats's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Beats.
Cierpka lands a nice shot to the head.
Beats trying desperately to get to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cierpka has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Beats's face.

Beats is rocked!

Beats is trying to escape the mount but Cierpka keeps good control and instead manages to take Beats's back.
Beats is still in real trouble! Can Cierpka finish him?
Cierpka lands shots to the head and Beats turtles up! The ref has seen enough and stops the fight! This one is over!
