The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akdeniz has taken the fight to the clinch.
Akdeniz has Fitzgerald pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fitzgerald manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Fitzgerald scores with a shoulder strike.
Fitzgerald lands a left hand that snaps the head of Akdeniz backwards.
Fitzgerald pushes Akdeniz back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Akdeniz jumps guard and drags Fitzgerald to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Andy Fitzgerald has scored more points in the clinch so far.
Fitzgerald creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Akdeniz's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Akdeniz drops to his knees and Fitzgerald pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
