Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takashi Tiura!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiura throws a sloppy head kick
and Williams counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Tiura shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Williams won't allow Tiura to pass to mount.
Tiura controlling the pace.
Tiura stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice cross by Williams.
Williams is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Tiura is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Williams gets caught flat footed, as Tiura shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tiura stops Williams from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tiura is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Tiura gets to his feet - Williams follows without any prompting.
Tiura drops his hands momentarily and Williams takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Tiura on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Williams lands with a good body shot.
Williams takes a swing at Tiura's ribcage but misses.
Williams throws a combination that misses
and Tiura counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Williams has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tiura is working away from the top position though.
Tiura is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Tiura slows the pace down in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Tiura keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Tiura prevents Williams from standing back up.
Williams is trying to maintain the position but Tiura is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Williams could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Williams scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Williams smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A left lands for Williams.
Tiura is rocked!
and Williams counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Tiura! He's just covering up as Williams starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Williams!
