The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melrose misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice body punch from Jones.
Jones throws a looping overhand right but Melrose ducks down to avoid it.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Jones scores with a nice head shot.
Jones lands a glancing blow to the side of Melrose's head.
Melrose misses with a body kick.
Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Melrose shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jones catches Melrose with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Melrose scores with a head kick. Jones tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Van Jones has been cut.

Melrose is rocked!
Jones ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Oh Melrose is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Melrose is breathing heavily.
Melrose drops his hands momentarily. Jones doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Melrose staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Melrose doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
