Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Pavlovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abraham Safforn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavlovic closes the distance but Safforn moves to the side
and Safforn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Safforn checks a leg kick nicely.
Pavlovic misses with a wild body shot.

Safforn clinches up with Pavlovic and pushes him back against the cage.
Safforn lands a body punch.
Safforn pushes Pavlovic back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Safforn lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Pavlovic is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Safforn scores with an uppercut up the middle.

A frustrated look appears on Pavlovic's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Safforn lands a shoulder strike.
Safforn lands a nice uppercut.

Safforn gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Pavlovic is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Pavlovic looks like he's trying to stand up.
Safforn looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Safforn throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Pavlovic trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Safforn manages to pass to mount!

Safforn is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pavlovic to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pavlovic shrugs it off.
Safforn has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pavlovic's face.
Pavlovic might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Safforn fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Safforn unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Pavlovic wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Safforn celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
