Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladislav Maslow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward McLauglin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maslow comes to the cage accompanied by Werewolves Of London. McLauglin has chosen You Belong To The City as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maslow on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Maslow fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McLauglin on the side of the head.
Maslow takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nice body kick there by McLauglin.
A looping hook to the body misses from McLauglin. Maslow does a little dance to reset his feet.
McLauglin looks to land a left hand but Maslow moved out of range nicely.
McLauglin misses with a two punch combination.
McLauglin lands a leg kick that knocks Maslow off balance momentarily.
McLauglin moves into range and clinches up with Maslow.
Maslow lands with a light punch inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Maslow creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
McLauglin pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Maslow tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

That has opened up Edward McLauglin's cut even more.
Maslow tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McLauglin smiles and moves away.
McLauglin lands with a hook. Maslow tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and McLauglin counters with a right hand to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Maslow misses the target.
McLauglin scores with a leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McLauglin.
McLauglin connects with a jab.
Edward McLauglin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Maslow throws a lazy right hand but McLauglin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Maslow throws a nice inside leg kick.
McLauglin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Maslow paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McLauglin thuds his right hand into Maslow's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
McLauglin walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Maslow checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
A little feinted left hand from Maslow on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

McLauglin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
McLauglin tries to close the distance and clinch but Maslow swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McLauglin connects with an inside leg kick.
Maslow throws the kick towards the body but McLauglin avoids it.
Maslow misses with a looping left.
McLauglin lands a nice looking body shot.
Maslow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McLauglin tries to avoid it but Maslow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McLauglin to the ground. McLauglin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladislav Maslow. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Maslow is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McLauglin.
McLauglin ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Maslow just misses with a punch to the body.
Maslow walks into a left hand.
McLauglin moves in looking to clinch but Maslow pushes him off.
Maslow cracks McLauglin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

McLauglin connects with a solid leg kick.
McLauglin connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
McLauglin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
McLauglin closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Maslow! McLauglin dives in looking to finish! Maslow is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edward McLauglin!
