Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny McCoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Temoodschin Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan wants to clinch.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Khan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

As Khan looks to move away, McCoy throws a big counter combo but Khan just gets out of the way.

Khan throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as McCoy stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Khan follows into mount!

Khan is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But McCoy has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from McCoy!

McCoy lands with a hook. Khan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
