Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Erik Kramer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill throws a leg kick but Kramer sees it coming and moves out of range.
Kramer throws a body punch but Hill moves out of range.
Hill keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hill throwing a counter right hand but Kramer manages to avoid it.
Kramer drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Hill connects with a crisp jab.
Kramer connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hill's hands.
Kramer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Hill counters with a good low kick that Kramer was not able to check.

Hill throws the left hand but Kramer avoids the punch easily.
Kramer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hill stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kramer moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Some bone on bone action there as Kramer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Hill feints and then cracks Kramer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kramer down.

Kramer is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hill creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kramer tries to work over Hill's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kramer has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Hill seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Kramer can turn it around.

Kramer's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Hill lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kramer backwards.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hill pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kramer thumps Hill with a low kick.
Hill throws a hook to the side of Kramer's head but Kramer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kramer! But no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jericho Hill dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kramer drops his hands momentarily and Hill takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Kramer throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hill.
Hill fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kramer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hill thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kramer if he has to take too many more of those.

Hill lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hill is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kramer can do to turn this around?
Kramer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hill has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kramer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hill finds it's way round the side to connect with Kramer's head.

Kramer is rocked!
Hill cracks Kramer with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kramer tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hill pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kramer is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

After winning the bout, Jericho Hill thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
