The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vukovic avoids the body shot from Sonnen.
Sonnen takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sonnen takes one on the button.

It looks like Chael Sonnen has been cut.

Vukovic moves out of range of the strikes.
No joy there for Sonnen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vukovic throws a leg kick but Sonnen sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Sonnen swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Vukovic lands a nice hook to Sonnen's body. Sonnen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Vukovic lands with a shot to the body.
Vukovic looks to land a combination but Sonnen avoids it well.

Sonnen half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Vukovic lands a right hook to the body.

Vukovic cracks Sonnen with a right hand to the side of the head.
Vukovic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Vukovic fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sonnen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sonnen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vukovic moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sonnen is breathing heavily.
Sonnen takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sonnen connects with a nice looking jab.

Vukovic thuds a left hand into Sonnen's body.
Sonnen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Vukovic counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sonnen tries to move into range but Vukovic moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Vukovic throws a low kick, looking for Sonnen's leg but Sonnen calmly moves out of range.
Sonnen blocks a leg kick.
Vukovic throws a series of punches but Sonnen avoids them all with ease.
Sonnen throws a right hand that misses

and Vukovic counters with a crisp right hand that drops Sonnen! Vukovic lets Sonnen back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Sonnen is rocked!

Vukovic throws a monster overhand right that drops Sonnen! Vukovic follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
