Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Freddy White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and German Shephard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shephard has chosen K9 Justice as his entrance music. Freddy White is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shephard lands with an overhand left.
White throws a nice inside leg kick.

and White counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by White.
Shephard tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Shephard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in White's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Shephard holds on and takes a little breather.
Let's hope that Shephard has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Shephard is working an open guard so White takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Despite the aggression on Shephard's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Good leg kick by Shephard there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

White's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Shephard connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! White scrambles back to his feet.
White tried to score with a low kick but Shephard checks it.

Shephard lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shephard.

German Shephard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shephard throws a hook to the side of White's head but White sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A close round but German Shephard will probably get the nod.

White fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Shephard has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
White is fighting to break Shephard's control of his arms but Shephard is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Shephard pulls out of a head kick attempt.
White lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Shephard looks to score with a jab to the body but White is just out of range.

White uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shephard.
White stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Shephard.

As Shephard tries to get set, White tries to push him back and clinch up but Shephard manages to avoid the attempt.
White lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shephard circles away quickly and effectively.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting White here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Shephard is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Shephard presses White against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Shephard throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent White stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Shephard uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before White has time to react.
White digs a good hook to Shephard's body.
White throws a right hand that Shephard ducks under and follows up with a left that Shephard also avoids with ease.

White attempts a counter takedown but Shephard avoids it well and moves away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Shephard lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and White has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from White and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The fight stays on the outside here - Shephard looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
It looked like White was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Freddy White showed his dominance in that final round.
