Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kid Fireball!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Willis!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fireball throws a hook to the side of Willis's head but Willis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Willis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Willis cracks Fireball with a right hand to the side of the head.
Willis throws a right hand that Fireball ducks under and follows up with a left that Fireball also avoids with ease.
Willis has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Fireball is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Willis tries to clinch but Fireball moves out of range.
Fireball works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Willis throws a right hand that Fireball ducks under and follows up with a left that Fireball also avoids with ease.
Willis takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Willis!


It looks like Kid Fireball has been cut.
Willis scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fireball tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Willis was well out of range. Poor timing from Fireball.
Fireball tests Willis's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Willis walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Willis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fireball defends it nicely.
Fireball takes a swing at Willis's ribcage but misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Willis lands a jab to the nose.
Willis fails in his attempt to clinch.
Fireball throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Willis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Willis throws a jab but it's blocked by Fireball.
Willis throws a leg kick that is checked
enabling Fireball to counter with a crisp jab.
Willis moves into range and connects with a jab.
Some wild striking there from Willis.

Fireball drops Willis with a beautiful combination! Willis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fireball is looking for the KO!


Willis is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Willis looks for a takedown but Fireball sprawls well.
Willis is still on wobbly legs! Can Fireball finish him?
Fireball ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Willis out cold! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kid Fireball!
