Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Okkuke Jiizu Okunaba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Octane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Octane misses
and Okunaba counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Okunaba lands strikes from half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Octane has hold of Okunaba's hands but Okunaba slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Okunaba in particular looking to stall.
Okunaba's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Okunaba takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Okunaba prevents Octane from improving his position.

Okunaba is controlling the pace.
Okunaba has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Octane is trying to control but can't.
Okunaba maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Octane could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Okunaba has cracked it and Octane is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Okunaba!

Okkuke Jiizu Okunaba spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
