Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tonothan Kuhula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leandro Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuhula comes into the arena with Native Drums from the South Pacific blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuhula throws a jab when Silva was well out of range.
Kuhula ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away.
A right-left combo lands from Kuhula.
Silva swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Kuhula counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Kuhula is just out of range.
Silva takes one to the chin there.
Silva slips a jab and a cross from Kuhula.
Sloppy strikes from Kuhula. Those never looked like landing.
Silva is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kuhula with a body shot.
Silva takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Tonothan Kuhula has been cut.
Kuhula shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Leandro Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silva leaves Kuhula with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kuhula is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Kuhula throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely.
Silva let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

and Kuhula counters with a nice uppercut.
Silva moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Tonothan Kuhula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuhula keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Silva rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kuhula counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Oooooh!!! Kuhula has knocked Silva down with a huge combo! Kuhula steps away and waves a wobbly Silva back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Silva is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kuhula is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Silva flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Silva is out cold! Kuhula holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
