Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sergei Dragunov!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cropp misses with an uppercut.
Cropp throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dragunov sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Dragunov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Dragunov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cropp.
Dragunov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Dragunov lands a nice hook to Cropp's body. Cropp takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Cropp will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Cropp throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dragunov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cropp cracks Dragunov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cropp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dragunov follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Dragunov throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Cropp looking to score a takedown here. Dragunov is defending well but Cropp drives through and ends up in Dragunov's guard.

Cropp postures up in Dragunov's guard and throws a big left but Dragunov blocks it.
Cropp throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dragunov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dragunov controls Cropp momentarily but Cropp frees himself.
Dragunov has control of Cropp's left arm, preventing Cropp from doing any damage.
Cropp postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dragunov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cropp is stalling in the full guard.
Dragunov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We've been hearing good reports from Cropp's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Dragunov walks straight into a right hand from Cropp - that's dropped him! Cropp jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Dragunov from any more punishment! Dragunov complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
