PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roland De Ronceveux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Sinclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think De Ronceveux might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Menousis. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Brett Sinclair!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinclair tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. De Ronceveux manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
De Ronceveux moves out of range as Sinclair strikes.
Brett Sinclair seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Ronceveux takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Roland De Ronceveux has been cut.

Sinclair feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

De Ronceveux has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sinclair off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Sinclair misses with a hook
and De Ronceveux counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sinclair's knee momentarily.

De Ronceveux tried to counter with a leg kick but Sinclair avoided it.
De Ronceveux moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

De Ronceveux swats away the attempt to clinch by Sinclair.
De Ronceveux turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sinclair looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

De Ronceveux uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sinclair.
De Ronceveux throws a quick counter kick to the body but Sinclair avoids it.
De Ronceveux feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sinclairs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Sinclair swings away with a body shot that misses
and De Ronceveux counters with a leg kick.
Sinclair connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Sinclair misses with a takedown
enabling De Ronceveux to counter with a crisp jab.

Sinclair throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around De Ronceveux 's waist but De Ronceveux gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sinclair off to one side.

and De Ronceveux moves into the clinch.
De Ronceveux stops a takedown attempt from Sinclair.
Roland De Ronceveux has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brett Sinclair.

De Ronceveux lands a nice uppercut.
Sinclair jumps guard but De Ronceveux turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
De Ronceveux stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from De Ronceveux .

De Ronceveux feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sinclair sprawling to the canvas! Sinclair rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can De Ronceveux finish him?!

De Ronceveux lands a big uppercut and Sinclair crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sinclair looks OK. De Ronceveux waves Sinclair back to his feet!

Sinclair is rocked!
De Ronceveux throws a quick head kick that knocks Sinclair silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! De Ronceveux is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

A less than humble Roland De Ronceveux misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
