Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexi Laiho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragnar Magnusson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laiho fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Magnusson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Magnusson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Laiho feinted with a counter takedown.

Laiho shoots in and bounces Magnusson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Laiho postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Laiho slips nicely into half guard.
Laiho thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Magnusson's head.
Magnusson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Laiho is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Laiho is looking for a kimura but Magnusson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Laiho to get the leverage.
Laiho has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

It looks like Ragnar Magnusson has been cut.
Laiho lands a big elbow - Magnusson is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Laiho!
