Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kasey Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mcgregor Conor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kasey Strong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mcgregor Conor!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Conor. Those never looked like landing.

Strong is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Conor is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Strong thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Conor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Strong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Strong cracks Conor with a big right hand but Conor just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Strong lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Strong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Strong counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Conor is lucky that one didn't land flush.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Strong connects with a nice short shot to Conor's temple.

Strong feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
