Van Borg has chosen Thinking Black as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Screwvala lands a glancing blow to the side of Van Borg's head.

Screwvala is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Screwvala continues to stall.
Screwvala stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Van Borg swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Van Borg wants to sweep but no luck.

Van Borg is trying to hold Screwvala in close to prevent damage but Screwvala has managed to pass into half guard.
Screwvala is taking a breather. Van Borg says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Screwvala knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Van Borg on the ground.
Van Borg is refusing to be controlled, as Screwvala sits in half guard.
Van Borg moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Van Borg tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Van Borg seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Van Borg looks to land a combination but Screwvala avoids it well.
Screwvala tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Van Borg manages to circle out of the way.
Van Borg throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Screwvala seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Van Borg closes the distance and pushes Screwvala back into the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Van Borg is trying to pull guard but Screwvala turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Ronnie Screwvala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ruud Van Borg.

Van Borg working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Screwvala doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Screwvala manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Van Borg has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Screwvala is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Van Borg wants to take the fight to the mat but Screwvala manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Screwvala drops Van Borg onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Van Borg is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Screwvala creates a bit of distance for himself, with Van Borg pressed up against the cage and cracks Van Borg with a massive uppercut! Van Borg goes down! He's out cold! Wow, that was some serious power there by Screwvala!
