Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Martial (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitri Nosula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dmitri Nosula looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alex Martial!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dmitri Nosula!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nosula drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nosula controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Nosula postures up.
Martial utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Nosula is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Martial working a defensive guard here.
Nosula looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Nosula is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Nosula trying to control the position from guard on top but Martial is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nosula's corner is telling him to maintain position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nosula tries to free his leg and advance position but Martial is retaining full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Nosula shoots in but no luck this time.
Nosula looks winded!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Martial, as that shot connected.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Martial keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Martial is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Nosula.
Nosula shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Martial as he jumps to the side.
Alex Martial has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dmitri Nosula.
Martial lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Martial fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nosula on the side of the head.
Nosula takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Nosula is rocked!
Nosula tries for a takedown but Martial sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Martial tries to counter by clinching up but Nosula breaks away and moves out of range.
Nosula is still on wobbly legs! Can Martial finish him?
Martial lands a nice looking body shot.
Nosula seems to have recovered his senses.
Martial looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Martial cracks Nosula with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Nosula looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Martial finish him?

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Martial drops Nosula with a straight right hand, right on the button! Martial follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Martial!
