Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blake Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Llewelyn Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edwards comes to the ring accompanied by Like a surgeon. Carter has chosen Scooter - Fire as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Edwards misses.
Carter moves away from the strike by Edwards.
Carter wants to counter the offense by Edwards and move into the clinch position.
Edwards fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Edwards looks for the body kick but Carter saw that one coming.
Carter takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Edwards thows a body kick. Carter tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Carter blocks the body kick.
Carter takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Carter takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Llewelyn Carter has been cut.
Carter rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Edwards counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Edwards thuds his shin into the meat of Carter's side.
Carter looks winded!

Edwards closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Edwards just content to control the position.
Edwards trying to control the action but Carter is working from the bottom.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Edwards grinds an elbow into Carter's temple.
Sloppy strikes there by Edwards.
Edwards tries to advance to mount but can't.

Edwards looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Edwards working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
An elbow from Edwards crashes against the mat.
Carter is letting Edwards control him for a moment.
Edwards throws a strike aimed at the side of Carter's head but Carter avoids it well.
Edwards working the strikes but Carter uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Edwards scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Carter blocking the ground and pound attempt from Edwards.

Edwards is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Edwards in particular looking to stall.

Carter tries to roll over but Edwards keeps him under control.
Carter is not content to let Edwards control the position.
Edwards works his way into side control.
Edwards trying to control the action but Carter is working from the bottom.
Edwards in side control, throwing shots but Carter defends.
Edwards sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Carter is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Edwards tries to move to mount but Carter blocks the move with his legs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Edwards tries to score with some ground and pound. Carter controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Carter stops Edwards from passing to mount.
Carter tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

That has opened up Llewelyn Carter's cut even more.
Edwards lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Llewelyn Carter's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Llewelyn Carter's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
