Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Charles LaFontier!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaFontier jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Hideya Kaayi has been cut.
LaFontier keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
LaFontier takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kaayi swings for the body but LaFontier moves out of range.
Kaayi scores with a hook.
LaFontier fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
LaFontier throws a hook but Kaayi avoids it easily.
Kaayi tries to clinch up.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from LaFontier, right into the meat.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
LaFontier throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kaayis head.
Kaayi throws a punch but it's blocked by LaFontier.
This has been an exciting period of action!
LaFontier working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
LaFontier lands an elbow inside.
Kaayi tries to circle away but LaFontier has him pinned against the ropes.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, LaFontier creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Kaayi is rocked!

LaFontier creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Kaayi crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5, yes, he's made it back to his feet. He seems OK so it looks like we're going to continue!
Oh Kaayi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kaayi tries to clinch up
and LaFontier counters with a left to the body.
Kaayi wants to clinch but LaFontier slips to the side
and LaFontier counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Kaayi badly! He tries to strike back but LaFontier puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Kaayi out cold! Oh man, Kaayi will never hear the end of this one!

Charles LaFontier bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
