Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jason Lee Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perseen Suti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott comes to the cage accompanied by Go, Go Power Rangers. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Lee Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 20 - 2, fighting out of London, Perseen Suti!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suti goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Scott lands the left hand.
Good leg kick by Scott there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A left and a right from Scott both land. Nice combination.

Suti shoots in and bounces Scott off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Suti postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

We've been hearing good reports from Scott's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Scott wants to get back to his feet but Suti is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Suti is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Scott is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Scott has escaped and now he's on top!

Scott gets to his feet - Suti follows without any prompting.
Suti moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Scott moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Suti moves into the clinch.
Suti trying to stall but Scott improves his position.
Suti blocks a punch to the side of the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Scott creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Suti wants a takedown but no success here.
Suti has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Scott after a bit of a struggle.
Suti wants to take the fight to the mat but Scott manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Jason Lee Scott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Perseen Suti.
Scott lands a left hand that snaps the head of Suti backwards.

Scott lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Suti.
The referee is keeping an eye on Scott - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Suti's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Suti has hold of one of Scott's legs. Scott is fighting the takedown attempt but Suti gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Scott manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Suti gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Scott kicks Suti off and gets back to his feet.

Suti chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Scott can pounce on him.

Suti shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Suti was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Suti tries to advance to mount but Scott instead regains half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Suti connects with a nice short shot to Scott's temple.

Suti is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Scott is looking to improve his position.
Scott wants to get back to his feet.

Suti working over Scott with some ground and pound. Scott looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Scott is trying to control but can't.
Scott is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Suti scores with a couple of nice shots.
Scott is looking for a sweep. Suti is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Suti slips a nice elbow through Scott's hands, connecting with Scott's forehead.

Suti is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Scott has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Suti is looking to stall here but Scott recovers full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Suti fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Suti blocks a head kick by Scott.
Suti avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Scott throws a jab but it's blocked by Suti.
Suti shoots for a double leg takedown but Scott sprawls well. He's pushed Suti's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Scott lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!


It looks like Perseen Suti has been cut.

Suti changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Suti throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Suti is trying to control the action in half guard but Scott is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Suti seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Scott does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Scott wants to stand up but Suti is controlling him.
Suti stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Scott swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Suti looking to sit in guard and control but Scott gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Suti is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Scott gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jason Lee Scott will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Perseen Suti's cut.
That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


No luck with that takedown attempt from Suti.
Scott connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Suti momentarily.
Suti is looking to clinch but Scott is avoiding it.

Suti is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Perseen Suti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Suti drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Scott pushes Suti away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Suti gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Suti! Scott is hurt baaadly! Suti is firing away with more strikes - Scott is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Perseen Suti!
Our winner, Perseen Suti, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
